Ingredients

  • 335 g unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • 4 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 225 g self-raising wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 235 g caster sugar
  • 200 g icing sugar

Preparation

  1. Let the butter soften. Heat the conventional oven to 180 °C. Grease the 20 cm sandwich tins with 10 g of butter and line the bases with baking paper. Bake for 25 minutes until golden and a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
